As this is more a battery centric smartphone let’s talk about its battery performance. This smartphone is easily a good choice for a power user and people who always stay web connected. The phone boasts a standby time of over 30 days and up to 37 hours of talk-time on 3G or 32 hours of Wi-Fi web browsing. The ZenFone Max can even be used to charge other compatible devices. ZenFone Max includes advanced features to satisfy power users. The Power Saver mode helps users manage and extend the battery life even more. Look-wise ZenFone Max looks attractive, may be it feels bulky for some but overall it looks nice in your hand and easy for one hand operations. The new ZenUI has more than 1000 features and additions to the Android interface, runs the latest 6.0.1 (Marshmallow) version of the Android OS, so you have new features such as the Now on Tap. The camera performance is decent but bit inconsistent. Overall, it’s a great package in this price bracket.
