THOMSON smart Tvs celebrate its 1st successful year in Indian online market

After its successful launch in Indian online TV space , Thomson smart Tv’s marks its 1st anniversary this April. Witnessing a consistent surge in demand from across India, Thomson has created a phenomenal brand recall, amongst its discreet and price-conscious consumers in just one year. At the back of this success, Thomson also announces its Anniversary Sale on 21st April, 2019 at 12 AM Only on Flipkart with discounts of up to INR 10,000.

Living upto its global positioning of “friendly technology”, the brand has well-kept its promise and launched over 10 SKU’s at affordable prices in the year gone by. Growing at an average of 35 per cent quarter-on-quarter, the brand is bullish about India and is eyeing revenues of about ₹500 crore in the next 2-3 years span. Having set an ambitious target of 6-7 percent market share by 2020, Thomson continues to bank heavily on e-commerce as its key driver of marketing sale & distribution, which is sure to strengthen its foothold.

Some of the recent research suggest that the potential for Tv sales in India is close to 14 million sets a year, with smart TVs accounting for about 65 percent of this. Riding high on such industry estimates Thomson will continue to push the envelope and offer a great line-up of launches this year too.

2. February 2019 : announces integration with ZEE 5 as content partner !
3. December 2018: announces investment of 150 crores in new manufacturing!
4. October 2018: Thomson tops number 3 position in online Tv sale!
5. September 2018: launches 50 and 55 4k UHD Tv’s
6. July 2018: sells 30,000 units in 45 days!
7. June 2018: launches non-smart Tv’s – 24, 32 and 50
8. June 2018: launches an all new UI
9. April 2018: launches 43 4k; 40 smart and 32 smart
