Zen has released a budget smartphone Zen Sonic 1 with 2 GB RAM priced at just Rs 5,999. The Zen Sonic 1 has a 1.3 GHz quad core processor, the latest Android 5.0 Lollipop OSl and offers 16 GB internal storage apart from a 32 GB micro SD card slot. The Zen Sonic 1 sports a 5-inch display with 480×800 pixels resolution and two point touch input.
The 128 gm heavy Sonic 1 has a 2000 mAh battery that claims to offer 13 hours of 3G talktime. It measures 70x141x8.2 mm and has two SIM card slots (micro+normal). The Zen Sonic 1 has FM radio, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, WiFi, WiFi hotspot, and a micro USB port. The phone has a 5 megapixel auto focus rear camera and a 2 megapixel front camera.
