Brandworks Technologies, a leading manufacturer of OEMs, ODMs, in India, recently participated in the prestigious 5th Electronics Supply Chain Summit organized by ELCINA, held at the Radisson Blu Hotel, Sector-18, Noida.

The summit brought together thought leaders, innovators, policymakers, and key stakeholders from across the Indian electronics ecosystem to discuss the future of the supply chain and India’s position in the global value chain. This edition focused on investment opportunities in the electronics manufacturing sector under various incentive schemes offered by both Central and State Governments.

The Electronics Supply Chain Summit is recognized as a vital platform for driving discourse on India’s electronics manufacturing and supply strategy, particularly as the country aims to strengthen its role in global supply chains. The 5th edition emphasized strategic sourcing, supply chain resilience, indigenization, and leveraging India’s strengths to become a global manufacturing hub. Brandworks Technologies’ presence at this significant event underscored its commitment to innovation, localization, and sustainable growth in the electronics sector.

The summit’s theme, “Shifting Gears from Assembly to Manufacturing: Leveraging the Component Incentive Policy,” aligned with ELCINA’s ongoing efforts to foster collaboration and policy advancement. ELCINA actively engages with the government, advising on policy and business environment issues, and networks with technical institutions and business support organizations in India and abroad to facilitate business expansion and the dissemination of technical developments.

At the 5th Electronics Supply Chain Summit, experts shared valuable insights on the Electronics Component Manufacturing (ECM) Scheme, highlighting opportunities for domestic growth and investment. The summit also featured detailed state presentations from Karnataka, Uttar Pradesh, Odisha, Madhya Pradesh, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, and Tamil Nadu, each showcasing their unique incentives, infrastructure, and support mechanisms for electronics manufacturing.

The interactive sessions concluded with an engaging Q&A, where industry leaders and investors discussed challenges, policy support, and collaboration opportunities. These discussions reinforced the importance of synergy between State and Central governments in building a robust electronics supply ecosystem.

Brandworks Technologies actively participated in panel discussions, offering insights into the challenges faced by mid-sized EMS (Electronics Manufacturing Services) providers and the need for cohesive policy frameworks to support indigenous design and manufacturing. The company’s leadership emphasized the necessity of streamlined access to raw materials, consistent government support, and improved infrastructure to help MSMEs thrive in this space.

As proud members of ELCINA, Brandworks Technologies also took part in the Investor Round Table, a key highlight of the summit. This focused dialogue unpacked the ECM Scheme and its guidelines, providing deep insights into the government’s support mechanisms for electronics component manufacturing in India.

Mr. Ishwar Kumhar, CEO of Brandworks Technologies Pvt. Ltd., shared his opinion on this occasion, “We’re delighted to have participated in the 5th edition of the Electronics Supply Chain Summit organized by ELCINA. We are proud to have contributed to key discussions, especially the Investor Round Table—a highlight of the summit—where we emphasized our commitment to Atmanirbhar Bharat by promoting design-led manufacturing and reducing dependence on imports for critical electronic components. This summit has further strengthened our dedication to India’s manufacturing future. We’re excited to innovate, scale, and collaborate.”
