The combination of 24.2-megapixel APS-C CMOS sensor and DIGIC 7 image processor yields beautiful and clear images, while Dual Pixel CMOS AF enables high speed autofocus enabling users to capture precious fleeting moments of even moving subjects with precision. Available, in black and weighing merely 302 grams (body only), the EOS M100 is thoughtfully designed in a compact and stylish form with optimized dial and buttons for easy operability.
One of the camera’s main features is the self-portrait mode with Smooth Skin feature. With its intuitive and user-friendly 3.0 inch touchscreen LCD that enables quick adjustment of the degree of brightness, background defocus, self-timer and even Smooth Skin level options, taking selfies can now be a breeze.
To help aspiring photographers familiarise themselves with the myriad of camera settings on a DSLR camera, the Creative Assist feature on the EOS M100 can be employed to convey the complexity of technical photography jargon in an easy to grasp manner so users may quickly maximise the camera’s potential even without expert camera knowledge. Users can configure and save up to six Creative Assist settings for frequent use, and exchange setting information with other cameras with Creative Assist feature to broaden their range of photography expressions.
With its HDR Backlight Control mode, scenes with excessive backlight or huge light contrast can be corrected to achieve the desired brightness. This creates well-balanced shots even while preserving highlights and enhancing details in shadow areas.

With Dual Pixel CMOS AF on the EOS M100, capturing fast-moving moments is a cinch. To guarantee high speed and precision, Dual Pixel CMOS AF employs phase detection auto focus (AF) technology when tracking and shooting moving subjects.
Also, the Touch AF function enables quick adjustments of focus areas at just a touch of the LCD screen, especially during macro and portrait shoots. The EOS M100 has an improved continuous shooting speed of up to 6.1fps during fixed AF and 4.0 fps during servo AF as compared to its predecessor (EOS M10) to capture fast-moving subjects.
The powerful DIGIC 7 image processor enables an impressive ISO sensitivity range of up to 25600, allowing users to shoot even in the most challenging lighting conditions and still achieve beautifully exposed and low noise images.

Express your creativity with EOS MOVIE to create a movies in Full HD at maximum 60p. With the combination of Dual Pixel CMOS AF technology paired with STM lens, fast, silent and smooth AF can be achieved for beautiful footage. Equipped with the in-camera Combination IS function, camera shakes are suppressed to achieve stable shots even when using a lens without an image stabilization function. Additionally, the Time-Lapse Movie function allows users to shoot fun and on-trend movies that encapsulates the changes of their photo subjects, through the passage of time into a compressed format such as movement of clouds or even the traffic flow at a busy intersection. It also allows automatic adjustment of exposure according to the scene brightness.
Easy Connectivity
With Wi-Fi and NFC connectivity and the Canon Image Gateway app, users can easily pair their cameras to their smart devices for ease of sharing the fun moments through other social media platforms.
The Canon Camera Connect app facilitates convenience by allowing users to have real-time control of camera settings such as shutter speed, focus selection and self-timer and more, all from their mobile devices.
Additionally, the built-in Bluetooth low energy technology maintains constant connection to a compatible smart device at low power consumption. With this constant connection, users can view images and start remote capture from the camera even when it is in Auto Power Off mode. Smart devices with Bluetooth can wake the camera up, and switch to Wi-Fi for browsing and viewing images or performing remote capture (with Live View). Users can also use Bluetooth to perform basic remote capture (no Live View), control image playback and slide show when the camera is connected to a TV or projector via smart devices.

The EOS M100 is available with a single kit option the EF-M15-45mm f/3.5-6.3 IS STM kit.
