    Cellbay, established in 2016, is a multi-brand mobile retail chain based out of Hyderabad that deals with all prominent mobile brands such as Samsung, Redmi, Oppo, Vivo, Realme and more. During an interaction with Mobility  Magazine, Mr. Soma Nagaraju, Managing Director-Cellbay, illustrates the steps taken to position Cellbay as a dominant store in the retail setting.

    Elaborating on Cellbay’s philosophy,  Mr. Soma Nagaraju shares, “Cellbay thrives on the 5C Mantra – Clarity, Customer, Culture, Challenges and Confidence.     Today, Cellbay has evolved into a one-stop-destination for mobile devices and services and one of the most successful retail chains in Southern India region and moving forward to the milestone of having over 200 stores.

    Elaborating on the scope of offline retailing, Mr. Soma Nagaraju adds, “The design & functionalities with customised packaging without compromising on the utility improves the brand value of mobile accessories, where customer satisfaction and touch and feel are the prime aspects in the retail space. We also give special importance to customer reviews on our services which help us to understand customer preferences and fill the gaps in serving the customers. The opportunities are huge in the offline retailing despite the growth of online retailing platforms. Cellbay continues to rev up the mobile shopping experience of the users through innovative ideas and strategies so that the customer can get the best experience.”

    The increasing penetration of smartphones and their dropping prices are driving the demand for various mobile phone accessories, which have become essential for the present day consumers and they are willing to pay extra for advanced features. The rise in disposable incomes is another factor that is revolutionizing the buying and spending patterns of customers. Changes in the outlook of consumers is leading to high demand for fashionable mobile accessories.

    Mr. Soma Nagaraju briefs, “The market studies show that the consumer behaviour is changing continuously, and the users are growing more cautious in choosing the products with quality & functionality.
