Realme announced a Selfie Campaign with a Selfie Contest for all youths across the country. The top winners of the contest will be chosen as the brand ambassadors of Realme U1 Fiery Gold Through this contest, students from various collages will compete to be the first ever official brand ambassadors for the young brand. Realme is the first smartphone brand to appoint the brand ambassador directly from their consumers.
The competition will be conducted in various stages. The contest begins today and all the entries will be accepted by 26th December 2018. All the submitted selfies by the students will be reviewed by the Realme team and will shortlist six top finalists, which will be announced on 26th December 2018. The selfies of the shortlisted finalists will be posted on Realme social media platforms from which top two winners will be selected through a public voting procedure along with the opinion of Realme jury. The 2 winners will be appointed as the brand ambassadors for the Realme U1 Fiery Gold variant and will be awarded with the title of ‘Realme Gold Ambassadors’. The public voting for the 2 Realme Gold Ambassadors will start from 12PM, Dec. 26 to 00:00, Dec. 28th. The final winners will be announced on 28th Dec, 2018 at 12:00PM.
Announcing the competition, Madhav Sheth, Chief Executive Officer, Realme India, said, “As a young brand for the youth, we cherish our customers. We believe in our customers and consider them as our brand ambassadors. This contest will give us the perfect chance to choose brand ambassadors for Realme U1 Fiery Gold variant from the Realme lovers for the Realme lovers.”
The top two brand ambassadors will receive Realme smartphones to be launched in 2019, including one Realme U1 Fiery Gold handset, one Realme Buds and one Realme U1 Iconic Case. Each of the 6 finalists will win one Realme U1, one Realme Buds and one Realme U1 Iconic Case as well. The top two winners will also receive an international trip to Realme Global head office for photo shoots, which will be promoted by the brand globally.
