Mr. Sahil Kandhari, Director, Dvaio, during an exclusive interaction with Mobility magazine sheds light on their product portfolio, current market trends, Make in India, and expansion plans.
Q. How are your products different from others in the market?
Our products are different from others by virtue of the superior technology, affordable price, and world class quality which give the customers a different experience and speak about our standards. Our company aims to offer customers the best value for their money. Whenever we launch a product in the market, we make sure that we have done thorough R&D bout the tastes of the young generation users, technology, and trends in the market. India is remarkably diverse in terms of tastes and expectations. What we offer is superior quality and a better warranty which few companies offer. Our after-sales-service is superb that sets us apart from the competitors.
Q. What are your target segments and focused products?
Dvaio has positioned itself as a leader in technology with the young generation as the main target. The population in urban areas and their spending capacity are increasing. With mobile phones becoming an indispensable part of urban life, consumers are willing to spend more on smartphones and accessories. At the same time, the increase in the number competitors has pushed the prices down significantly. The e-commerce websites are also playing a key role in aiding this trend. In line with this trend, we are focus more on wireless category which includes TWS, earphones, smartwatches, neckbands etc. We also want focus on chargers, data cables, etc. We plan to launch 10 faster series cables soon.
Q. Which segments generate major portion of your business?
For Dvaio, the wireless segment generates maximum business. The continuous improvement of our products has helped us to attain market credibility and trust of customers. Apart from this, our shipment services supported by a reliable team of logistic partners are amazingly fast. Mobile gadgets nowadays play a vital role in people’s personal as well as professional lives, be it for work, education, online classes, working out, listening to music or watching favourite movies. Wireless earbuds, TWS, neckbands, etc have become indispensable companions to many youth. Surging consumer demand for style, high fidelity, and advanced features like Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) has propelled the growth of these products. Dvaio’s tagline is ‘We deliver relationship and experience to customers via our product portfolio.’
Dvaio has recently launched Energy Pro neckband wireless headphone (2 in-ear buds) along with USB cable, quick setup manual and warranty care details. Its wireless 5.0 feature wirelessly streams music from other devices with a transmission distance of 15 meter; bass port for superior sound; 460 mAh rechargeable battery that provides 80+ hours of playback; microphone for handsfree calling; and in-ear design that is comfortable to wear.
Q. What is your take on Make in India?
Make In India launched by the Modi government in 2014 with a mission to make India a manufacturing hub has given mobile manufacturing the much-needed boost and propelled the mobile device industry towards greater innovation, building best-in-class manufacturing facilities, skill development and employment. The future is set to bring many positive changes in the Indian wireless industry. Currently, the market is witnessing a shortage of products but soon the gap will be bridged. As a result of Make in India, more skilled personnel will be benefitted. The standards of wireless technologies in India are set to match the international standards in coming years. India will see considerable growth in mobile accessories market and the wireless technologies will define the future.
Q. Please brief us about your future plans?
Currently, we are present in UP, Jharkhand, Assam, Bihar, West Bengal, Chhattisgarh, Rajasthan, Punjab & Haryana. Now, we plan to foray into Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and other southern states and double our annual growth rate. We plan to launch smartwatches, speakers, TWs, headphones, etc later this year.
Q. What is your message to partners?
Our message to our partners is during these tough times, they should not lose hope and be patient. Also, all should trust in Make in India and buy Indian products that help India emerge as a world-class manufacturing hub.
