EV India 2022 Expo held in Greater Noida, from 8-10 sept 2022, was is an International Electric Motor Vehicle Show that provided the opportunity and platform to electric vehicle manufacturers to showcase their latest products, technology and equipment, smart and NextGen transport, electric passengers cars, scooter, motorcycle, cycles, buses etc to meet and network with the trade industry as well as end users with the main aim to find out new business and protection of the environment.
The 3 Day expo was inaugurated by Gen. (Dr.) Vijay kumar singh, PVSM, AVSM, YSM (Retd.), Minister of State for Road Transport, Highways and Civil Aviation, Government of India. The Guest of Honour was Shri Jaswant Singh Saini, Honourable State Minister – Industrial Development, Government of Uttar Pradesh and special guest was Mr. Dhirendra Singh, MLA, Jewar, Greater Noida, U.P.
Aim of the event
EV India Expo is the best public interactive platform for resources sharing, product purchase and brand display for the people and industry. It acts as a platform which connects with buyers, sellers, manufacturers, traders, retailers, importers at one place and gives the opportunity to display and demonstrate your ideas, innovations, products and vehicles to the customers. It also acts as a networking opportunity to connect all the stakeholders of the industry for showing the world that ‘Power can fuel the Future’ as by 2030, the total vehicles on road will be converted to Electric Vehicles at much affordable prices and a lot of perks.
Indian electric vehicle industry is a new business and the opportunity for the automobile industry is immense. Like any new sector, there are some small teething troubles that need to be resolved. However, with a strong policy like FAME II, India now has the potential to be a global electric manufacturing hub.
This is the perfect platform to learn, share and experience as we move forward into an age where alternative energy efficient modes of transportation would be in demand. Audi, Mercedes, BMW, Tata, Mahindra and Odysse—some of the leading manufacturers in the Electric Vehicles (EV) sector had showcased their latest models and technologies in the second edition of the International Electric Motor Vehicle Show (EV India 2022).
There were more than 200 exhibitors including the leading global companies such as Zelio, Custome Wraps India, Rittal, etc. the title sponsor at the event were JoyEBike, Maxim, Lynlard sponsor was Sika.
Mobility India was one of the media partners at the event.
The mega show was organised by Green Society of India (GSI), a registered and non-profit organization under the societies registration act XXI of 1860 with its head office in New Delhi (India) and working for the environment protection with the aim to create environmental awareness and involved in research, investigative, educational work in the field of pollution, forest, wildlife, land & water use and various aspects of the environment. Also in association with INDIAN EXHIBITION SERVICES (IES) , a well-established Exhibition organizing company in India that has been involved for the last several years in promotional activities like exhibitions, seminar & conferences, buyer seller meetings. IES is engaged in the development of the MSMEs and provide platform to the small-scale industry to promote their products through the trade exhibitions, buyer seller meets, seminar, and conferences with continuously this aim and create a bridge between buyers and suppliers in the MSME Industry.
E- Charge Forum: Itis an International Summit focused on Electric Vehicle Charging Technology & Infrastructure and dedicated to EV Industry experts, EV Charging Equipment Manufacturers and Charging Infrastructure Developers to explore and establish electrical infrastructure and charge points to meet the needs of a new generation of electric vehicles and a platform to discuss about the development Challenges and opportunities in the industry and a high-level networking for the people of Electric Vehicle Charging Technology & Infrastructure sector. It is also an open platform to exchange the views, share the knowledge to promote the EV Charging infrastructure in India.
The event acted as a facilitator in forging bonds between the EV Industry, Trade Associations, Government agencies and individual Manufacturers & Service Providers.
