The SWITCH UAV is a revolutionary hybrid fixed-wing VTOL drone, designed for day and night surveillance with advanced daylight and thermal payloads. It delivers exceptional performance across civil, enterprise, and security applications.
This platform has already demonstrated exceptional capability for defense forces in both counter-insurgency and counter-terrorism (CI/CT) operations and recent active conflict during operation Sindoor, earning the prestigious “Fit for Indian Military Use” certification from the Directorate General of Quality Assurance (DGQA). Additionally, the SWITCH UAV was assigned a NATO Stock Number (NSN) recently, which makes it eligible for procurement by NATO and allied agencies, supporting its integration into global defence supply chains. With DGCA approval, these capabilities will now extend to paramilitary and police forces, along with additional features that will be a game-changer for enterprise users. The DGCA Type Certification validates SWITCH’s compliance with the highest standards of safety, reliability, and quality under India’s Drone Rules, 2021, in the Small category (2–25 kg).
