Hello friends! At the very beginning, I would like to thank each and every partner for their tireless efforts ensuring a healthy sales growth for Vivo during such testing and tough times. It is very humbling to see you putting many long hours at work to ensure a positive sales season for all of us. Also big thanks to our factory workers and VBAs–our brave soldiers who have been showing up at the factory and in retail stores every day, facing the pandemic and helping us to meet the increasing demand. 

Vivo’s CSR efforts: New COVID cases are rising every day in India. As a socially responsible company, since lockdown we have been doing our bit to serve the country and countrymen– donating masks, sanitizers, PPE kits and gloves to healthcare workers who are true heroes. We also donated Rs 1 Cr to UP-CM Relief Fund. Our team in Kerala donated smartphones to kids so that they could continue their classes online during lockdown.

IPL: We have paused the sponsorship for IPL 2020 after mutual agreement with BCCI. We miss IPL this year, but are gearing up for the following seasons. 

Our continued support to local team members: Some of our colleagues have come back from China to take charge and some are flying back for their family reunions. Many of our Chinese colleagues have been in India for more than a half year, some over a year, and they wish to spend some valuable time with their families which is very important. I have been video calling my parents, my wife, my kids and friends, but nothing can substitute the feeling of spending time with them personally.  

Sales Support Initiatives: We are very positive of about the market in India and I am sure the forthcoming festive season will take us to a new height. We are committed to support offline sales partners and will do all that is possible to ensure the partners will have best possible comfort and support. Some things we promise to our partners include: 

  1. New and Innovative Product Launches 
  2. Strong marketing efforts thru TV, advertising and new promo schemes
  3. Steady supply of inventory made in India 
  4. Exciting sales offers to ensure a profitable festive season
  5. Same products, same price, same time policy between online and offline markets. No exclusive online only models.
