Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh Take New Steps as Part of their Make in India Mission!

As a part of Make in India mission, the state-level focus of this issue is on the initiatives of the Chattisgarh government. Today, Chhattisgarh is witnessing an uptick in the production of electronic components, such as semiconductors, circuit boards, and EV batteries, which are vital to the broader electronics ecosystem. Chhattisgarh government has rolled out several incentive programs including tax breaks, subsidies for land acquisition, and support for skill development programs. Additionally, the state government has set up Electronic Manufacturing Clusters (EMCs) to provide a ready-made environment for companies looking to set up their operations.
Moving to the national level scenario, Union Minister, Shri Ashwini Vaishnaw, speaking at the Global Investors Summit 2025 in Bhopal, elaborated on the two new electronic manufacturing clusters approved in Madhya Pradesh. Currently, 85 companies are actively engaged in the electronics manufacturing sector in the state.
During 2025, we hope India will move one more step forward in becoming a huge manufacturing hub!
