Mefron’s journey has been very exciting so far. We recognized significant opportunities in this industry early on. We started our operations in 2022 in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, and within just three years, we have quickly established ourselves as one of India’s most dynamic EMS providers. The driving force behind our rapid progression has been our commitment and strong focus on delivering unparalleled quality and unmatched support to Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs). This is backed by our world-class manufacturing facilities and a highly trained workforce.
What are the key services offered by Mefron, and which industries do you cater to?
Mefron stands out as an EMS partner, delivering end-to-end solutions all under one roof. Our services include box build electronics production, PCB assembly, wire harness and cable assembly, tooling, injection moulding, and sheet metal fabrication. Additionally, we offer design and rapid prototyping services to meet diverse client needs. At present, our core focus is on four key industries: Consumer Electronics, Automotive & EV, Medical, and Defence & Aerospace.
Could you share details about your manufacturing facility and how your infrastructure supports projects of varying scales?
Our 1.5 lakh+ sq. ft. manufacturing facility is located in Rajpur, near Ahmedabad. We have invested heavily in our SMT lines, advanced tooling, plastic injection moulding machines, and wire processing equipment. We operate multiple product assembly lines that can be scaled up or down based on production needs. Additionally, our highly adaptable setup enables us to handle both low-volume high-mix and high-volume low-mix projects with ease.

Our dedicated R&D team drives continuous innovation in product design, supported by advanced manufacturing infrastructure. Additionally, we are integrating cutting-edge technologies, such as IoT and AI/ML, for real-time monitoring, defect detection, and process optimization. Committed to the highest industry standards, we hold certifications such as ISO 13485 (Medical), IATF 16949 (Automotive), and ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and more, reaffirming our dedication to delivering high-quality, compliant, and innovative electronic solutions.

Where do you see your company in the next 5 years?
In the next 5 years, we aim to be among the top ten global EMS companies, driven by our core philosophy of “zero-defect, zero-delay.” The global focus on India as a manufacturing hub, supported by initiatives like Make in India and the government’s incentivizing schemes, presents a great opportunity. To capitalize on this, we are ramping up our production capacity, planning to double our manufacturing facilities through significant investments over the next 3-5 years. Additionally, we plan to expand our footprint by adding two more locations, one in the Northern and Southern Region of India, further strengthening our presence and capabilities.
