At an event scheduled in Brazil on February 7, 2019, Motorola is tipped to launch its latest range of G7 smartphones – Moto G7, Moto G7 Plus, Moto G7 Power, and Moto G7 Play. Motorola has already started sending out invites for the event, as per reports. The devices are expected to launch in India shortly after.
Almost all renders of the Moto G7 lineup reveal notched displays, rear-mounted fingerprint sensors with the signature bat logo for all smartphones. According to renders, the Moto G7 and Moto G7 Plus will launch with regular notch displays, while the Moto G7 Play and Moto G7 Power will launch with waterdrop notch displays. The Moto G7 Power is speculated to get a massive 5,000 mAh battery.
According to the latest press renders leaks, the Moto G7 is tipped to be available two colour options – Black and White color; the G7 Plus will be launched in Red and Blue colors; the G7 Power is slated to arrive in Black and Lilac Purple colors; and the Moto G7 Play will be available in Gold and Blue color options.
The Moto G7 and Moto G7 Plus are to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 chipset while the Moto G7 Power will get the Snapdragon 625 SoC. The G7 Play is slated to run on the 14nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 632 SoC. The G7 Power will be powered by a massive 5,000mAh battery with fast charging support. The G7 Plus is tipped to feature the Snapdragon 700-series processor, mostly the latest generation Snapdragon 710 processor. The G7 and G7 Power, according to images, may feature a similar rear-mounted fingerprint scanner.
