Mumbai Airport and Happydemic surprise passengers with a musical Christmas


As the city enlivens with the spirit of Christmas, the city’s most significant infrastructure project, the Mumbai International Airport geared up for a euphonious celebration. GVK MIAL, the company that administers Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport, partnered with Happydemic, the country’s most loved ‘live entertainment specialists’ to deliver a musical experience at the Terminals 1 and 2.

The exclusive event witnessed musical flash mobs of 5-7 minutes taking place sequentially at 7 different locations across T1 and T2. The aim of this association was to provide an enchanting experience to travelers stepping into the city’s International Airport. The performance line-up for the event included hand-picked artists from across the nation, ranging from guitarists to percussionists, promising a musical extravaganza to travelers. The musical convoy consisted of 12 sensational singers with 5 guitarists & 5 cajon players.

Speaking about the event, Mr. Rajeev Jain, Chief Executive Officer, Mumbai International Airport said, “Music forms an essential part in commemorating cultural and social revelry across the globe. Celebrations are evidently incomplete without music and what better way to celebrate Christmas than a musical fest.
