Nextech, a 30+ year legacy brand by Amson Interconnect, offers reliable mobility power and AV-IT solutions tailored for modern lifestyles. During an exclusive interaction with Mobility Magazine, Ms. Aishwarya Agarwal, National Manager – Marketing & Corporate Sales, and Mr. Yash Agarwal – Product Head, Gaming of Nextech By Amson Interconnect Pvt Ltd share insights into their debut gaming innovation, Klutchone, its features, and vision.
What inspired Nextech’s bold entry into gaming with the launch of Klutchone?
We’re thrilled to introduce our newest innovation—Klutchone. It’s our debut in the gaming segment and marks a significant step in redefining mobile gaming. The mobile gaming experience has remained unchanged for nearly a decade, and we felt it was time to raise the bar. Klutchone is here to make the experience more seamless, more powerful, and far more accessible to users across the board.
What inspired the creation of Klutchone?
We’re gamers ourselves, so we understand the limitations and frustrations of current mobile gaming setups. Klutchone was born out of a simple idea—what if mobile users could get a console-level experience, right at their fingertips? We’ve combined hardware and software innovation to bring this to life.
What makes Klutchone stand out from other mobile gaming devices?
Klutchone is a Type-C stretch gamepad—designed for plug-and-play simplicity. It works effortlessly with both Android and iOS devices. It supports PS5 Remote Play and many other gaming apps. What’s amazing is that it offers zero lag, thanks to the wired connection via Type-C. The gamepad auto-detects games and syncs instantly, putting users in direct competition with console players. You’re no longer limited to mobile-only gaming—you’re right there in the arena with the best.
Can you walk us through the product demo?
It’s as simple as plugging the Klutchone into your phone—like this iPhone 15 we have here—and you’re ready. The device activates immediately. We’re currently showcasing a live demo where students are using Klutchone to compete in a PlayStation Remote Play environment, and the experience is absolutely smooth. No lag, no interference—just seamless gaming.
What about battery usage and other practical concerns?
Klutchone uses minimal battery, and we’ve added a Type-C PD port so users can charge their phone while gaming. There’s also an audio port for headphones, ensuring an immersive gaming experience. On a fully charged phone, users can expect 6-7 hours of gameplay, but with the charging feature, it’s essentially endless gaming.
Is Klutchone available in India, and what’s the pricing?
Klutchone is already available for the Indian market. The expected price point is around ₹10,000. What makes us proud is that we’re developing everything in India—from the hardware to the chipsets to the software. It’s a completely homegrown product.
Any final message for the gaming community?
We’re building a strong and growing gamer community. Every Sunday, we host competitions where gamers can win exclusive merchandise and participate in brand activations. We’re not just launching a product—we’re building a movement. Klutchone is for gamers, by gamers. Get future-ready with Nextech.
Where can users share their feedback?
We encourage all users to try Klutchone and share their experiences. User feedback is essential for us—we’re constantly evolving. Nextech is committed to innovation and will continue to introduce newer, smarter technology for gamers.
