“On this International Women’s Day, let’s acknowledge that true empowerment is not a solo journey—it’s a collective one. We celebrate women today not just for their strength in nurturing life but also for their invaluable contributions to economies, industries, and innovation. A thriving world is one where both men and women progress together, as destiny has designed. Women have the innate strength which we call ‘Nari Shakti.’ Women have years of experience in pain-bearing, sacrifice and hard work. To be successful, women need to take the right decisions at the right time, often quickly, when the opportunities arise. At every cross roads, there are opportunities which you need to grab taking quick and appropriate decisions. Throughout my 35 years experience, I faced several challenges and came across many opportunities. I have learnt that if we are persistent, work hard, and work smartly, we can reach new levels undoubtedly. Success comes when we strive to succeed in the face of challenges. Then, we should also help others who are less fortunate to growth and succeed. Today, companies in India and worldwide want to use the untapped potential of the women power. The eminent panelists here will share about the importance of self-driven empowerment of women, inclusive work cultures, and the growing influence of women in shaping business and economic landscapes.”

“Women often strive for perfection in every role—be it as a professional, a mother, or a community leader. But time is finite, and perfection can be a burden. The key is balance. A strong support system at home and a partner who truly respects your aspirations can make all the difference. Choose wisely, build wisely, and most importantly—own your choices without guilt. Because empowered women don’t just build successful careers, they build stronger families, companies, and societies.”

“Empowerment is often seen as something given to us—by society, by men, by institutions. But true empowerment comes from within. It is the ability and willingness to take change, to lead with confidence, and to own our decisions. Instead of waiting for a green signal, we must be the ones to set the path forward. Empowerment isn’t about permission—it’s about action.”

“When I joined my organization eight years ago, there were only two women, including me. The biggest challenge wasn’t just being seen but being heard. But resilience changes everything. You may be shut down ten times a day, but if you rise every time with the same energy and determination, you pave the way for change. Women bring a unique perspective, a blend of strength and sensitivity, and that diversity is essential for any organization to thrive.”

“Manufacturing has long been considered a male-driven industry. When I entered, I had to prove not only my leadership but also my operational expertise. But change is evident—today, 60% of our office workforce is female, and 40% of them are working on the shop floor, breaking stereotypes every single day. Women are no longer confined to HR and admin roles; they are leading in production, R&D, and operations. The shift is real, and it’s powerful.”

Ms. Charu Prabha Joshi, Sales & Marketing Manager, Zion Digital Technologies Pvt Ltd (an Authorized Partner of Canon India).

“In a male-dominated industry like dealership and sales, the challenge for women has always been visibility before voice. But progress is happening. Today, 70% of my company’s ownership is with women promoters, and that’s a testament to how businesses are evolving. Women don’t just deserve a seat at the table; they are now shaping the very foundation of the table itself.”
