Sony India today in collaboration with Plus Engage announces the launch of the fifth annual All India Corporate Photography Contest, which aims to promote photography as an art form among corporate employees and provide a platform for participants to showcase their creativity and talent. This year the contest has six categories for participants: Nature & Landscape, Art & Culture, Portraits, Wildlife, Daily Life and Mobile Photography. Each category will be judged by renowned photographers from the pool of Sony Artisans. The contest is open to corporate participants from all sectors including IT, BFSI, pharma, manufacturing and others. Over the past four years, many renowned companies have participated in the contest.
Mukesh Srivastava, Head of Digital Imaging Business at Sony India said, “We believe in promoting photography as an art form and providing a platform to corporates and their employees to showcase their talent. The contest encourages participants to explore and pursue their passion for photography, leading to a more creative and engaging work environment. We look forward to seeing the diverse and innovative perspectives that the employees will be bringing to this contest and are equally excited to celebrate their talents”.
The criteria for judgement will be originality, creativity and photo quality. Winners in each of the categories will receive cash prizes, framed certificate and Sony goodies. The contest will begin from 25th May 2023, onwards and participants can upload their photos until 5th July 2023 and voting will also commence during the same time period. The winners will be announced on 20th July 2023.
Participating in the corporate photography contest is easy and accessible through two different methods. For employees whose companies have already registered for the contest, they need to simply click on this link to access the contest platform and upload their captivating pictures. Alternatively, if an employee is interested in taking part in the contest and their company has not registered yet, they can reach out to their HR department and request them to register using this link. This will ensure that all interested participants have an opportunity to showcase their photography skills.
