Motto of Vocal for Local
With the motto of Vocal for Local and expertise in OEM mobile batteries, Staunch has now started manufacturing Smartwatches, Neckbands, Power Banks, and TWS for OEM purposes. With mobile phones becoming an indispensable part of urban life, more and more consumers are spending on smartphones and accessories.
Changing Trends
After the initiatives such as Make in India or Aatma Nirbhar Bharat were taken by the government, the preference curve of the consumers has also shifted towards Indian products.
With changing times, consumers have evolved and so have their choices. The focus has shifted towards an easy and comfortable lifestyle – this simplification comes with a lot of additional technology in life. The wireless accessories for mobile phones satisfy this need. Wireless accessories ensure one does not have to spend time and eff ort untangling wires. These allow the user to go about his or her daily chores without worrying about the wires.
These are some factors that have led us to expand our manufacturing segments.
Focus on innovation
Staunch is a Fast-Moving Electrical Goods (FMEG) Company with a strong global presence, thanks to our motto of “Make in India”, extensive distribution network and world class quality Mobile phones and the bare minimum sets of accessories are as important as a mobile phone in daily life. These accessories are a must-have, whether power banks, wireless earphones, or smartwatches. Thereby, creating a space in this growing market as a home-grown Indian-origin manufacturer is something that needs to be addressed.
Wearable Tech -The Fastest Advancing Sectors
Wearables are everywhere Over the past decade, wearables have gained a significant customer base globally.
From basic fitness trackers and highly advanced sports to virtual and augmented reality headsets, wearable tech is one of the fastest-advancing sectors of the wider technology industry. Wearables such as smartwatches and fitness bands have witnessed large-scale adoption among consumers due to the rapid evolution of their lifestyles. With rising urbanization, consumers are opting for aesthetically appealing and advanced wearable technology that can serve daily requirements and track real-time data.
Boosts manufacturing
The Make in India campaign by Prime Minister Modi’s government is a big boost not only for the manufacturers
but also for the economic growth of the country. The vision of the campaign is to make India a global hub for the manufacturing of goods ranging from cars to software, smart mobile accessories to paper, and a lot more. With the launch of this campaign, India has already marked its presence as one of the fastest-growing economies in
the world. It has given Indian-origin manufacturers, like ourselves, the ability to present themselves in the global
market.
Challenges in manufacturing
Even though India is growing at a fast pace in terms of manufacturing, there are still some challenges that manufacturers face. No doubt, consumers are shifting their preferences to Indian brands or products but there’s still a lack of confidence or belief in investors’ or consumers’ minds for Made in India products. We still have a long way to go.
Growth curve
From 2021 onwards, the smart accessories sector has seen a comeback of sorts. The boom is being driven by consumers upgrading to better devices and increased demand for personal devices in homes as offices, schools, colleges, and entertainment all shifted to people’s homes. The major mobile accessories used by customers include powerbanks, USB cables, chargers, smartwatches, and wireless earphones. Owing to substantial growth in the adoption of smartphones and tablets, the mobile accessories market in India is expected to take a heap by the end of 2023. It was a fairly unorganized segment but now change is a foot.
