Informatic Computech Pvt. Ltd. (ICPL) is proud to announce its official empanelment by the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) as a Digital Connectivity Rating Agency (DCRA). Under this authorization, ICPL is now empowered to conduct Digital Connectivity Ratings on a PAN-India basis, adhering to the regulatory framework established to enhance the quality of indoor digital experiences.

As a TRAI-empanelled agency, ICPL will perform independent assessments of digital infrastructure within residential, commercial, and public infrastructure projects. This initiative follows the “Rating of Properties for Digital Connectivity Regulations, 2024,” which aims to standardize how buildings are evaluated for their digital readiness. ICPL’s evaluations will focus on critical parameters, including fiber readiness, mobile network performance, in-building Wi-Fi infrastructure, and overall service performance.

“The empanelment of Informatic Computech Pvt. Ltd. as a Digital Connectivity Rating Agency by the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India is a significant milestone for our organisation,” stated Dr. Tarun Kumar Taunk, Managing Director of ICPL. “We are grateful for the confidence reposed in us by the Authority. The company remains committed to maintaining the highest standards of technical competence, objectivity, and transparency while contributing to the advancement of reliable and future-ready digital connectivity infrastructure across India”.

The DCRA framework is designed to create a transparent ecosystem where property managers and developers are encouraged to co-create robust Digital Connectivity Infrastructure (DCI). For property owners, a high rating serves as a standardized benchmark that adds significant value, attracting more users, buyers, and investors. Notably, TRAI has mandated that all Central Government buildings of public importance, such as airports and railway stations, must undergo these ratings within one year of occupancy certification.

ICPL will work closely with developers, enterprises, and infrastructure providers to facilitate these objective assessments, ensuring alignment with national digital infrastructure priorities. Property managers interested in obtaining a digital connectivity rating for their buildings can now reach out to ICPL to begin the evaluation process.
