vivo, the global innovative smartphone brand, announced the winners of their ‘Make in India’ logo contest today. Bringing to life the brand’s Make in India commitment, the winning logo, designed by Rahul Patel (a design enthusiast from Mumbai) and crowdsourced on Talenthouse India (A Division of Reliance Entertainment) will be printed on all vivo devices including the recently launched V19. This logo reestablishes the firm’s commitment to stay invested in the country and also reiterates that every vivo device sold in India is made in India.
vivo had invited enthusiasts to design a new logo in early November last year as part of their 5-year celebration. The winner, selected from 3300 entries, will be rewarded prize money of INR 5 lacs for the rights of their logo. Additionally, ten runner-up winners will receive vivo devices.

The brand’s total investment In India for manufacturing devices will be at INR 7,500 crore. As part of its absolute commitment to the Indian market, all devices that are sold in India are manufactured in India.
