The X Flip specifications, on the other hand, are more modest. The handset will sport a 6.74-inch AMOLED display with a 21:9 aspect ratio, 2,520x1080p resolution, 120Hz refresh, 406ppi, and HDR10+ support. The cover display will be 3 inches tall. The handset will be powered by Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC and equipped with 12GB LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB/512GB UFS 3.1 storage. The phone will house a 4,400mAh battery with 44W fast charging support.
There will be a 32MP camera on the front for selfies. Much like the X Fold2, the flip will also come with an in-display fingerprint scanner. The handset will measure166.4mm×75.3mm×8.2mm and weigh 200 grams. As for the colour options, the Vivo X Flip will come in purple, black, and gold shades.
There is no word on the Vivo X Fold2 and X Flip software yet, but we speculate that the phones will run Android 13 out of the box. The design of the smartphones is likely to be similar to the existing foldable and flip smartphones in the market. That said, the Vivo X Fold 2 is said to come in a much more compact and slimmer form factor than its predecessor the X Fold. That is all the information we can divulge at the moment.
