Samsung announced the upcoming availability of the Galaxy J2 4G smart phone in India. According to a report, Samsung will sell the Galaxy J2 in India for Rs 8490 outright. The Galaxy J2 is an affordable 4G handset which has, for the first time, an ultra data saving mode. The Galaxy J2 is the fact that it offers both dual-SIM and 4G LTE support and it comes preloaded with Android 5.1.1 Lollipop operating system right out of the box. Samsung’s affordable smartphone is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core Exynos 3475 processor, a Mali-T720 graphics processing unit and 1GB of RAM. Although it comes with only 8GB of storage inside, users can further expand storage up to 128GB via microSD card slot.
The Galaxy J2 sports a 4.5-inch capacitive touchscreen display that supports 540 x 960 pixels resolution. It also features a 5-megapixel camera on the back with autofocus, LED flash and video recording, as well as a secondary 2-megapixel camera in the front for selfies and video calls. The smartphone is powered by a 2000 mAh battery and offer various connectivity options including Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, microUSB 2.0, FM Radio and GPS with AGPS support and GLONASS.
