Regarding the changing trends in the distribution business, Mr. Abhay Khandhar comments, “There has been a total disruption in the offline channel due to the ecommerce portals who can offer big discounts. Today, the ecommerce portals such as Jio Mart, Flipkart and Amazon are giving big competition to the offline distributors like us.”

While the challenge from the ecommerce is common to all the offline players, AK Marketing is able to overcome the problem due to its strong relationships with the partners and the effective marketing strategies they follow.

Talking about their business strategy, Mr. Abhay Khandhar reveals, “We are currently distributing mobile phones of Nokia, Tecno and Itel. Managing the Return on Investments (ROI)is the biggest challenges we are facing at present.
