During an exclusive interview with Mobility Magazine, Mr. Srikant Gupta, Director, Apex Tronic, discusses the importance of Make in India for growth and efficiency, as well as the future plans.
Apex Tronic was established in 2016 with a vision to benefit society through research, quality, and productivity. The main aim of the organisation is to provide products at the most affordable cost.
The brand is a prominent name engaged in the manufacturing and supply of audio products like PCBA, plastic moulding cabinets, wooden MDF cabinets, wireless trolley speakers, OEM and ODM services, etc.
Apex Tronic strives to provide high-quality, diverse products. It also strives to provide highly innovative products of excellent quality that are better than the competition, simplify lives using gadget solutions and electronic components, and provide an incomparable customer experience.
Mr. Srikant Gupta says, “The company was formed in 2016, and ever since we have tried our level best to keep track of manufacturing. Our aim is to promote manufacturing in India, and we have changed the paradigm of manufacturing by shifting the manufacturing of software, raw materials, and hardware from China to every aspect being designed in India.”

Apex Tronic, situated in Ghaziabad, has three manufacturing units in Uttar Pradesh, for smooth workflow, and has divided its well-developed infrastructural base into various divisions such as design, manufacturing, quality testing, R&D, sales, etc. R&D is a continuous process that is required not only to develop new solutions for current challenges, but also to develop cutting-edge technology for future emerging priorities.
In the near future, manufacturing will play a critical role in the economic growth of a nation, and for a country the size of India, opportunities abound for mobile accessories. As a key contributor to the mobile accessory ecosystem, it will be beneficial for all players to stand together to enhance the efficiency of the ecosystem rather than concentrating on just themselves.
Speaking about the way forward, Mr. Gupta says, “We know that technological innovation is the future, and in-house manufacturing will be revolutionised with the power of digitisation hence, we focus on manufacturing, and we are very proud that we have been able to change the concept of “assembling” in India to “manufacturing” in India—be it raw materials, software, hardware, etc. We are currently occupying more than 60,000 square feet manufacturing setup, and with the advent of time, we plan to increase it as we see a huge scope in manufacturing and slowly emerge as an export hub.”
