Asus EeeBook X205TA Notebook Review

ASUS recently announced the EeeBook X205,  which is an affordable 11.6-inch notebook with a full-size keyboard, large touchpad, and powered by aquadcore Intel Atom processor. Specially  designed for students and young professionals who are constantly on-the-go; it features a compact design that weighs less than 1kg. Despite its 11.6-inch size, it boasts a touchpad that is 36% larger than those found on similar-sized notebooks, and is identical in size to touchpads found on 14-inch ASUS models.Smart Gesture technology allowsusers to get the most out of Windows 8.1 using just the touchpad, with no need for a mouse.

Performance: With the X205TA, Asus has set the bar for what a budget laptop should be. With a solid display, category-leading battery life and stereo speakers all packed in a slim, attractive body, the X205TA feels like a premium device. The Bay Trail platform contributes to a decent office performance. Although Asus opts for a glossy, TN screen, the contrast and color reproduction are better than those of the low-cost competition. Things you need to know is that the camera of this device is very dissaponting. And the  battery replacement, is not possible.

Cons: Chassis is fingerprint magnet; low disk space; Weak webcam.
