Apart from its Dual SIM support most specs are same like Fonepad7
ASUS announced the 3rd generation Fonepad 7 which will now suppot Dual SIM. Apart from that most of the specifications are the same between the new Fonepad 7 dual-SIM variant and the original Fonepad 7 tablet. Asus kept the pricing of this tablet very affordable and attractive in this category at Rs 12,999. This will surely attract the budget buyers who are looking for a tablet or a smartphone in this category.
Looking into its specs the Fonepad 7 dual-SIM supports dual-SIM functionality and voice-calling. The tablet supports Micro-SIM cards and now has a glossy plastic body with HD 1280×800 pixels display with a Corning Glass. Comes with Intel Atom Z2520 1.2GHz Dual Core Processor clocked at 1.2GHz alongside 1GB of RAM. There is 8GB of inbuilt storage and a micro SD slot for up to an additional 64GB of storag,while Asus is also offering 16GB on Asus Webstorage cloud space for one-year.
It packs a 5 MP rear camera sans flash and 1.2 MP which also features a 100-shot burst mode also. As per the connectivity options of the tablet it include Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, EDGE, GPS/AGPS, GLONASS, Micro-USB and 3G (HSPA+).The Fonepad 7 Dual SIM packs a 3910mAh which promises to deliver 30 hours of 3G talk time and 10 hours of video playback. The tablet measures 199.5×120.8×11.35mm and weighs 340 grams.Will be available in India across all ASUS Exclusive Stores and major multi brand retail outlets from 16th April onwards.
