Journey
Make in India has been a direct inspiration for setting up East Sun’s India operations, and it aims to contribute towards building on Hon’ble PM Narendra Modi’s vision of powering a ‘Make in India’. It is recognized as a ‘Startup” by Startup India (DIPP).
East Sun aims to create a hub of fully localized manufacturing for mobile chargers, power adapters, and power banks in India. It is certified as an ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015 company by TUV SUD.
Manufacturing
East Sun drive by Health first – policy, aiming to use RoHS compliant and Life safe Raw-material keeping safety in mind of workforce to end user.
East Sun’s state-of-the-art manufacturing unit in Pune has a production capacity of 25 million chargers per year and 4 million power banks per year. The manufacturing lines are comprised of industry-leading machinery such as lead-free wave-soldering, ultrasonic welding, PCBA transfer and laser-engraving machines, pad printing machines, etc.

RoHS Complaint Products
Restrictions of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) originate from the European Union and are meant to restrict the use of specific hazardous substances found in electrical and electronic products. This directive aims to prevent any health, or environmental issues associated with these materials by restricting their usage.
Qualcom-certified products
East Sun Electronics is the only company in India that was Qualcom certified in 2019. All products and components used are compliant with the Restriction of Hazardous Substances Act, and the chargers and power banks manufactured are Qualcomm-certified. East Sun Electronics is licensed to manufacture Qualcomm-certified products. Qualcom Quick Charge technology is designed to deliver lightning-fast charging on phones and smart devices featuring Snapdragon mobile platforms.
Disney Merchandise
East Sun Electronics is the only company that has attained Facility and Merchandise Authorization for manufacturing Disney-licensed products. FAMA certification also ensures that products meet Disney’s supply chain ethical standards, including labour conditions and environmental practices.
Range of products
East Sun offers customized solutions for all types of USB mobile chargers, car chargers, power adapters, IoT power solutions, Power Socket cum chargers, power banks, etc. Apart from that, we have lap-top chargers and a range of car products as well.
Future Plans
In the next 2 years, we are upgrading and optimizing, and we are targeting from semi-automatic machines to fully-automatic machine. We are focusing on atomization and integration so that the products are very well tested before they are launched in the market. While summing up, Mr. Akshay Surana says, “East Sun Electronics is one of the pioneers of Atma Nirbhar Bharat, as it was inspired by Make in India. It’s one of the company in India to have RoHS certification and has attained facility and merchandise authorization for manufacturing Disney-licensed products. In future also we aim to focus on atomization and focus on integration. “
