Two new Intex smartphones, the Aqua 3G Pro and Aqua 3G Strong, were launched in India priced at Rs. 3666 and Rs. 3333 and both the smartphones share some common specifications. These Android 4.4.2 KitKat-based smartphones come with dual-SIM support and feature 4-inch WVGA (480×800 pixels) displays, as per reports.
Both the budget smartphones also support 3G connectivity, as the names suggest, one of the highlights of the handsets at this price point. Apart from 3G, other connectivity options include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS/ A-GPS, and Micro-USB. Both the smartphones sport a 2-megapixel rear camera and a 0.3-megapixel front camera. Both are powered by 1GHz single-core Spreadtrum (SC7715) processor and pack a 1400 mAh battery.
There are a few differences, however, such as the Aqua 3G pro features 512MB of RAM and comes with 4GB of inbuilt storage while the Aqua 3G Strong includes 256MB of RAM and 512MB of inbuilt storage. Both smartphones support expandable storage via microSD card (up to 32GB). The Intex Aqua 3G Pro measures 125.2×63.3x10mm while the Aqua 3G Strong measures 122.2×63.3×10.1mm.
