Nikon India announce the release of latest Nikon 1 AW1, V3 and J4 cameras in the series of Nikon 1 advanced cameras with interchangeable lenses that propose new forms of imaging expression.

The Nikon 1 AW1 offers all of the unique characteristics of Nikon 1 advanced cameras with interchangeable lenses, which propose new forms of imaging expression, including high-speed performance and a compact size that makes the cameras easy to take anywhere. However, it is also the world’s first*1 digital camera with interchangeable lenses to be waterproof to a depth of 15 m*2 and strong enough to withstand the shock of falls from up to 2 m*3 and freeze proof up to -10 degrees. The Nikon 1 AW1 has also been a recipient of the iF Product Design Award 2014, the globally prestigious industrial product design awards sponsored by International Forum Design GmbH.
The compact and lightweight body of the Nikon 1 V3 enables superior mobility, yet offers performance with tracking of moving subject that exceeds that of digital SLR cameras. It is a model that offers excellent image quality with superior sharpness and definition, and an operational feel similar to that of a digital SLR camera. It is also the first Nikon 1 camera to be equipped with a vari-angle LCD monitor that enables flexible shooting from any angle, new intuitive touch-screen control that is easy to use, and built-in Wi-Fi® capability for simple transfer and sharing of high-quality images. The Nikon 1 V3 is equipped with an 18.4-million pixel super high-speed AF CMOS Sensor with no low-pass filter and the new EXPEED 4A image-processing engine, the combination of which enables superior image quality.
The Nikon 1 J4 is a model with which performance with tracking of moving subjects that exceeds that of digital SLR cameras, and advanced shooting functions with excellent image quality that makes full-scale photography possible, have been incorporated in a compact and lightweight body. Equipped with 18.4-million pixels, a super high-speed AF CMOS sensor with no low-pass filter, and the latest EXPEED 4A image-processing engine, the Nikon 1 J4 offers superior image quality.
Nikon 1 J4 also features TFT LCD touch screen that enables intuitive operation, built-in Wi-Fi for simple transfer and sharing of high-quality images, and a variety of functions for recording 1920 x 1080/60p full-HD movies, including Fast Motion, Jump Cut, and 4-second Movie. Additionally, two new dedicated Nikon 1 accessories have also been released: the WP-N3 Waterproof Case, and the full-scale Underwater SB-N10 Speedlight that allows users to fully enjoy the new values of the Nikon 1 system with underwater photography.
Along with the Nikon 1 V3 and Nikon 1 J4, Nikon is also releasing the new 1 NIKKOR VR 10-30mm f/3.5-5.6 PD-ZOOM, a normal zoom lens compatible with the CX format and covering the 10-30mm range of focal lengths. The 1 NIKKOR VR 10-30mm f/3.5-5.6 PD-ZOOM is the world’s lightest*4 interchangeable lens equipped with a power-drive zoom function, and also the world’s first*4 interchangeable lens equipped with power-drive zoom to utilize an electrically controlled lens cover.
