Global mobile technology company, OnePlus, is partnering with iconic French designer, Jean-Charles de Castelbajac for the release of an exclusive new collaboration titled “Callection”.
Best known for his fantastical creations and unclassifiable style, Castelbajac has been fusing art into his fashion collections since the 1980s, when he first asked artists to paint his dresses. He has collaborated with renowned contemporary artists like Keith Haring and Jean-Michel Basquiat, to name but a few. A contemporary artist known for his unconventional approach, Castelbajac’s art can be found on the facade of the Orly Sud airport in Paris as well as in London’s Covent Garden. Castelbajac’s creative creations have been worn by Beyonce, Lady Gaga, and even by Pope John Paul II. He has worked with an impressive, diverse array of artists ranging from Kanye West to Woody Allen.
Always one to pursue the unconventional, Castelbajac was the perfect partner for OnePlus. The collection, titled “Callection,” is the result of two disruptors working together. The complete Callection will be officially unveiled September 19 at 20:30 CET at an exclusive event in Paris, leading up to Paris Fashion week.
