Oppo, the Chinese phone maker that entered the Indian market earlier this year, has launched its 5-inch phablet R1 in the Indian market. The Oppo R1 sports a 5-inch IPS display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. Under the hood, it is powered by a MediaTek MT6582 chipset with a 1.3GHz quad-core processor coupled with 1GB RAM. The 5-inch phablet is available for Rs 26,990.
They also launched their 3G-enabled budget smartphone OPPO Joy in the India Market, targeting the young generation and first-time smartphone users. OPPO Joy comes with ColorOS (based on Android4.2), dual-SIM capabilities and a unique feature called Hotknot. Hotknot not only enables faster, limitless transmission but secure file sharing as well. Another USP of this smartphone is its Nano surface coating technology with a 4.0” WVGA HD screen that is super sensitive, which makes operating with your long fingernails or wet hands easy and free, even when you wear gloves. The device has a 3-megapixel rear plus 0.3-megapixel front(Fill light) camera, power-packed 1.3GHz dual-core, a 4GB user memory, a microSD slot that supports up to 32GB storage and a 1700mAh battery. Earlier this year, Oppo launched the N1, boasting of the world’s first rotating 13MP camera. Some of its specs include 5.9-inch 1080p IPS display, quad-core Snapdragon 600 SoC clocked at 1.7GHz, 2GB of RAM, 16GB or 32GB onboard storage and 3610mAh battery.
