POCO is reportedly gearing up for the launch of its POCO F5 series in the global market. The POCO F5 lineup, allegedly consisting of the vanilla POCO F5 5G and the POCO F5 Pro 5G smartphones, is said to launch sometime during Q1, 2023. Ahead of the official launch, the vanilla POCO F5 5G has been spotted on the FCC certification authority’s database, which gives us some crucial information surrounding the device.

As seen in the FCC certification images above (via), the POCO F5 5G (with the model number POCO 23049PCD8G) has recently been certified, thereby hinting that the launch of the device (or the series) might be nearing. The FCC listing reveals that the POCO F5 5G will arrive in three memory variants. The base variant will feature 8GB RAM and 128GB storage, the mid-tier variant will have 8GB RAM and 256GB storage, and the top-tier variant will feature 12GB RAM and 256GB storage.
The POCO F5 5G is tipped to be a rebranded version of the Redmi Note 12 Turbo, which is said to launch soon in China. The device will reportedly feature a 6.67-inch FHD+ AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, the POCO F5 5G is rumoured to drive power from an unannounced and upcoming Snapdragon 7-series processor, which will be coupled with up to 12GB RAM and up to 256GB storage. In terms of cameras, the POCO F5 5G is tipped to offer a 50MP + 8MP + 2MP triple rear camera setup and a 16MP selfie snapper
