Tata Docomo, the unified telecom brand of Tata Teleservices, has launched a refreshingly different ‘Emergency Talktime Service’ for its prepay GSM customers in Karnataka. The service allows its customers to stay connected by enjoying credit talktime.
Tata Docomo customers can get a talktime credit of Rs. 4 by simply sending the SMS ‘Loan’ to 369 or Dialling USSD *369# from their mobile. It is a toll-free facility, and the credit amount will be recovered within 24hrs with a nominal fee. To avail of this service, customers should have completed at least 90 days on Tata Docomo’s network, and should have less than Rs. 5 as talktime balance. Moreover, customers are eligible to take subsequent talktime credit after the recovery of previous credit.
Commenting on the launch of this new service, Mr Ashok Ghose, MBU Head, Karnataka and Kerala, Tata Docomo said, “The ‘Emergency Talktime’ credit service has been designed to enable our customers to stay connected in pressing times when they are left with low talktime balance. This service has been introduced keeping in mind the needs of our customers, especially in case of an emergency.”
