Unlockar introduced bilingual support for its users wherein the users can interact with the app in Hindi, one of India’s most widely used languages. The company has also gone ahead and furthered the features and rewards in the app’s concept. These additions are targeted to enhance the user engagement and entertainment factor and are a result of user response gathered from the apps’ first 20,000 beta testers. Apart from the Bilingual support, Unlockar has made three major additions including Real Time Channels, New Reward Partners and ‘Share a Smile’ feature.

Keeping in view our users’ demographics and their continued trust and support from all across the country, we are also looking towards providing multi-lingual support for Unlockar in various other regional languages.”
Unlockar has introduced 13 new dynamic lock screen channels that provide real time updates on News, Sports, Cricket Scores, Movie Reviews, Bollywood Gossips, Horoscope, Automobiles, Health and Fitness, Lifestyle, Trends, Technology, Business, Stock Markets and Hindi News. The company has tied-up with and added more attractive reward options for users, enabling them to redeem their accumulated rewards at a partner of their choice. The latest additions to the list of tie-ups include Flipkart, Domino’s, Lenskart and Jabong.
The ‘Share a Smile’ feature ensures that users donate at least Re. 1 in charity when they redeem their rewards. Unlockar would go ahead and match the users’ contribution at the end of every quarter. The NGOs being supported by Unlockar include PETA India, Akshaya Patra and CRY. Users can now generate happiness for the less privileged just by unlocking their phones.
