Urbn was founded in 2019 on a mission to offer tech gadgets that elevate users’ lifestyles. The journey began with a commitment to innovative design, cutting-edge technology, and premium materials, all tailored to meet the dynamic needs of the Indian consumer. Initially established as an online-driven charging solution brand, Urbn is now available in retail stores nationwide and has sold over 8 million units across India. The brand has resonated strongly with customers seeking quality and convenience in their tech accessories. We believe that technology should always adapt to humans, not the other way around.
What are the key focus areas?
Urbn prioritizes developing innovative charging solutions tailored to modern consumer needs, seamlessly integrating into their lifestyles.

How do you see the scope of power banks and the audio market?
As smartphones continue to evolve with upgraded features, there’s a noticeable shift towards the organised segment in the power bank market. With the demand for fast chargers rising alongside increased costs, consumers are gravitating towards brands that prioritise quality. Furthermore, we’re witnessing a trend of embracing new technologies such as wireless charging, extending from power banks to desktop stands, driven in part by the resurgence of travel and the widespread adoption of 5G internet, which has amplified smartphone usage.Simultaneously, the audio market is experiencing substantial growth, fuelled by a discerning consumer base that values sound quality and advanced features. These consumers are actively seeking out the next generation of audio products to enhance their listening experience.
What has been the success mantra for URBN?
URBN’s success is rooted in our firm belief that technology should seamlessly accommodate users’ needs rather than impose limitations. With a relentless focus on customer-centric innovation, we tailor our product development to enhance the user experience. A prime example of this ethos is our creation of the world’s smallest power bank. Designed with the modern consumer in mind, we engineered this compact device to fit effortlessly into pockets while allowing users to comfortably hold both their phone and power bank during charging sessions. At URBN, our commitment to putting customers first drives every aspect of our business.
Which areas would you like to foray into?
