Shenzhen Yongxinlong New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. is a company specializing in the production of polymer lithium-ion batteries in China. The company has come up with new lithium-ion rechargeable batteries for electric vehicles.
The Indian market for lithium-ion batteries is significantly growing because of the increasing demand for portable electronic devices among the masses. The rapid shift in consumer preference toward compact and portable consumer electronic devices has been noticed in the last few years, leading to the escalating requirement for efficient storage and power backup solutions. Lithium-ion batteries in automobiles are also providing a boost to market growth.
Keeping this in mind, Shenzhen Yongxinlong New Energy Technology has launched lithium-ion rechargeable batteries for electric vehicles. It possesses high-rate discharge performance, as the capacity means the discharge capacity of the cell, which is measured with a discharge current of 0.2 C with a 2.5V cut-off voltage after standard charge. The cell shall be charged in accordance with the standard charging method. The cell shall be stored at a temperature of 55 +/- 2 °C for 7 days. Discharge at the constant current of 0.5C down to 2.5V this discharge capacity is capacity retention. Charge again in accordance with the standard charging method. This discharge capacity is capacity recovery.
The interrtal resistance was measured at lKHz within an hour after standard charge. Prior to charging, the cell shall be discharged at a constant current of 0.5 C down to the cut-off discharge voltage of 2.5 V, and the rest for 10 minutes.
The cell shall be charged in accordance with the standard charging method. The cell shall be stored at a temperature of 23+ 5 C± for 28 days. Discharge at the constant current of 0.5C down to 2.5V. This discharge capacity is capacity retention. Charge again in accordance with the standard charging method. Discharge at a constant current of 0.5 degree C down to 2.5 volts. This discharge capacity is capacity recovery.
At present, the company has four business divisions: polymer lithium battery, cylindrical lithium-ion battery, power battery (lithium iron phosphate), and finished battery. It has set up production bases in Hubei and Shenzhen, respectively, with a total construction area of about 15,000 square meters, more than 400 employees, and a number of German and Japanese advanced production equipment and has a phenomenal production capacity of 1,00,000 batteries per day.
Mrs. Cai Kellen, CEO, YXL, talks about the batteries: “We find a huge opportunity in India in the EV segment, and we are quite hopeful that lithium batteries by YXL batteries will do well. Currently, we have a production capacity of 1 lakh batteries per day, and with this innovation, we aim to establish a stable EV battery supply channel so that Indians can also get the maximum benefit.”
