ZTE Corporation announced that its sales volume of LTE 4G core network products achieved explosive growth in the European high-end market, with a year-on-year increase of nearly 200 percent.
By Q4 2014, ZTE had signed over 70 EPC commercial contracts, and deployed over 140 trial networks all over the world. ZTE’s 4G EPC product, which is based on a unified high-performance hardware platform, supports 2G/3G/4G wireless access, and provides redundancy protection at the board, Network Element (NE), and region levels, fully guaranteeing secure network operation and effectively reducing the TCO for operators in network construction, operation and maintenance. These capabilities can substantially increase operators’ competitiveness in the mobile broadband market.
The European market is witnessing rapid development of 4G services. With high-performance EPC products and extensive network construction experiences, ZTE has not only achieved substantial growth in existing markets like Germany, Austria, Belgium and Hungary, but also expanded into many new markets including Slovakia, Britain and Norway. ZTE will provide the majority of terminal users with ultimate network experience through the construction of high-quality 4G networks.
