MHA has issued an Order on 24th April 2020 late night that Standalone shops registered under Shops & Established act can resume the businesses but we have to wait for more clarity from the state authorities as they can only allow the sale of non-essential products from stand-alone shops as per the ground reality especially like in Hot spots & Green Zones but Lockdown will continue as usual till 3rd May 2020 as per the Honorable PM’s announcement.
Amira’s recent letters to MHA, Finance minister & Commerce and Industry Minister, Tweets and big efforts from Mr. Praveen Khandelwal jee (CAIT); GOI issued the new Order Dt. 24th April 2020. Now most important is to prepare themselves and their employees for the action with all the SOP’s of Social distancing and precautions. AIMRA said it will give SOP’s and training at the earliest. AIMRA has also requested all the brands to give training to Promoters and Shop owners on the SOP’s and how to deliver products at the customer’s doorsteps with utmost precautions. Hope all the shop owners will take the COVID threat more seriously even after coming out from home as the virus is still there and spreading and we have to work in this unsafe and unpredictable situation with all the possible precautions.
Note: Online can’t sell non-essential products as of now as per the order.
