Alian Electronics is India’s leading electronics manufacturer that manufactures superior-quality cables, chargers, and PCBAs, which are handy and portable accessories.

During an interaction with Mobility Magazine, Mr. Savan Nandaniya, Director, Alian, provided details about the scope of manufacturing in the Indian market, realising the massive potential of India, and establishing its presence in the Indian market.

Alian will release a wide range of products, including Gan charger hubs for Macbooks. Within the next six months, Alian also plans to launch keyboards. The work on design projects, both big and small, whether it is for large industries, small businesses, or individuals, speaks for itself in terms of returning customers, repeat orders, and several recommendations received.

    Initiators of Make in India

Make in India is a major national programme of the Government of India designed to facilitate investment, foster innovation, enhance skill development, protect intellectual property, and build best-in-class manufacturing infrastructure in the country.

Alian Electronics, situated in Gujarat, has been able to give a big boost to India’s Atmanirbhar Bharat ambitions. The organisation is one of the leading OEM/ODM Service providers and has been one of the key leaders in manufacturing in India, and its manufacturing plant is a testimony to its success in drawing eyes to the state in the electronics manufacturing industry.

    Focus on R&D

Alian Electronics is one of the pioneers in manufacturing and has very robust R&D centres in India to design and will offer end-to-end services to customers, including product design, tooling and moulding, global sourcing, and manufacturing services for smartphones and other products and services in the electronics segment.

Alian is currently eyeing an expansion from 10 lakh units per month to 30 lakh units per month and expanding its wide range of products with 12 assembly lines.

    Quality

Alian Electronics always strives to deliver high-quality services at affordable costs. It is always focused on the fact that the market has consolidated and that consumers are both price- and quality-conscious. Alian always focuses on innovation and treats it as the key to differentiation among the products. Alian is a well-established company that seeks to innovate, create, and inspire consumers nationally as well as globally by delivering products of quality and value.

Eyes Export to US & European Countries

The R&D facility is equipped to offer a tailor-made, robust product designed for all current and future cutting-edge technologies for its global and Indian customers. Alian has already started exporting to Nepal and Sri Lanka and now plans to extend exports to European countries and Bangladesh.

    Bottlenecks in Manufacturing

India’s success in becoming the most popular place for manufacturing is important and will likely have long-term effects. The rise of India’s manufacturing sector is likely due in large part to the government’s efforts to improve the domestic market, skilled labour force, and business environment. Still, there are other problems that need to be fixed, such as a lack of infrastructure and strict rules. However, there are some bottlenecks, like the shortage of chips and SMD components, which are some of the hindrances that lead to delays in India becoming an export manufacturing hub.

Mr. Savan Nandaniya talks about the future plans, “We plan to expand, including a wide range of products like Gan charger hubs for Macbook and keyboards, with a 30 lakh unit monthly production capacity, and also add three to four more assembly lines. We are currently working with many big brands in India as a OEM Partner. We have already started exporting to Nepal and Sri Lanka, but going forward, we plan to explore European and Bangladeshi markets as well.”
