Views on Make in India and Future Plans
Champion Electronics is one of the first companies to start the production of USB cables in India and one of the earliest adopters of Make in India concept even before the campaign was launched.
The brand has been vigorously working in line with the government’s Make in India program and has been constantly improving and upgrading its infrastructure and methods to provide high-quality products with superior quality to our customers.
Mr. Deepak Gupta concludes, “At present, Make in India has some challenges like delays in customs clearance, increasing costs of imported components which are not currently available in India, etc, but we hope in course of time the custom duties would decrease and the availability of raw materials domestically would improve thereby giving a push to the local manufacturing. Champion Electronics sees a great future opportunity in Make in India. In the coming months we are going to launch top-class TWS and smartwatches as we see increasing demand for these gadgets in the market. In future, we want to further improve, expand our manufacturing system, add more products to our domestically manufactured product portfolio and play our part to propel India to become a leading global manufacturing hub.”

The main aim of Champion Electronics is to bring innovative technologies to the Indian customers at affordable prices and reduce the dependency on imports from other countries.
