Samsung Electronics‘ “Galaxy S23 series is cruising” in major countries around the world, setting a new sales record that surpasses its predecessor, thanks to its overwhelming performance and camera function.
Samsung Electronics announced that the Galaxy S23 Series, which kicked off its global sales on February 17, recorded higher sales worldwide than the previous Galaxy S22 series during the same period. At a press conference held at the Unpacked on February 1, TM Roh stated that “he aims to grow sales by more than double digits compared to his previous work, and it seems that he has achieved better-than-expected results by recording higher sales of up to 70% year-on-year worldwide for 47 days since its launch.”
India, a global population powerhouse, confirmed its high popularity in the local market 1.4 times and the Middle East 1.5 times compared to its predecessor. Europe, which has a high proportion of premium sales, recorded 1.5 times higher sales than its predecessor.
Major Latin American countries such as Brazil and Mexico began selling on February 24, which is 1.7 times higher than its predecessor.
In the case of Korea, it recently surpassed 1 million units in sales. This was confirmed at a sales speed similar to that of the previous one.
The global sales of the Galaxy S23 Ultra, S23+, and S23 were tallied at 6 to 2 to 2, respectively, and the popularity of Ultra products was overwhelming.
The industry believes that the strong performance of the Galaxy S23 Ultra and the innovative camera performance of 200 million pixels have succeeded in capturing consumers’ hearts.
So far, Samsung Electronics has released the Galaxy S23 series in about 130 countries, including Korea, the United States, Europe, Southeast Asia, Latin America and India.
With the launch in Japan on April 20, the global launch of the Galaxy S23 series will be completed this month with some countries in the Middle East and Africa.
