Micromax subsidiary Yu Televentures unveiled its 4G device ‘Yunique’ in India for the mass market. The company has an exclusive partnership with Snapdeal and the product will be available for sale every week for registered users. Registrations began on September 8 for the first flash sale scheduled on September 15. 4G technology is expected to push Internet usage in the coming months to an unprecedented level with and consumers preferring the right devices at the right price.
The 4G smartphone comes with a 4.7-inch HD IPS display, Android Lollipop 5.1 operating system, 1.2 GHz quad core processor, 1GB RAM, 8GB memory, 8MP AF rear camera with flash and 2MP FF front camera and 2,000 mAh battery. The company would provide after sales support through 825 authorised service centres across 600 cities. The service would soon be extended to all YU devices.
