Mobilla is a Mumbai-based company, we are into multiple categories of Mobile phone accessories like batteries, chargers, power banks, Neckbands, and others categories. Our motto is to provide affordable accessories to everyone in India. We manufacture our products keeping the needs of the Indian consumer in mind. Mobilla aims to be at the forefront of the industry, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and incorporating cutting-edge technology to enhance user experience and safety.
How the market has changed over time?
Social media has been a huge manipulator of the changes in the market. The current trends are made readily available by the manufacturers in the market. The global market also keeps an eye on the Indian market since the trends catch up really fast in our country. The Indians have wide technical know-how & acceptance of the products in the market. People in India aspire to have the latest technology products.
Which segment are you focusing on currently?
India is a very price-sensitive market, people are looking for affordable quality products. Our brand is catching up in the market with word of mouth and marketing. The new generation is highly social media-centric and internet friendly, hence our aim is to manufacture good quality products for our consumers. People have trust in our brand and are ready to pay for quality.
What message would you like to give to the new upcoming brands?
The market is flooded with new brands every other day, but they hardly provide good quality products & after-sale services. Even at the cost of sales, one should not manufacture inferior quality products and cheat the customers. My only advice to the new brands would be to understand the market first and then manufacture quality products according to the need of the market. This approach will help everyone to grow consistently in the market. Do not compromise on the quality to generate revenue. We have seen many brands rising up from the bottom to the top with consistency.
What is your manufacturing process?
India is strongly competing with China in the manufacturing segment. India is the second largest hub of manufacturing. Our technology & knowledge skill set is increasing day by day which is a very positive approach. Our government is also supporting Indian manufacturers in many ways but the semiconductor industry needs a push in India to grow more.
What products are you currently manufacturing?
We started with manufacturing batteries primarily in Himachal Pradesh which were of very good quality. We have been very passionate from the beginning about manufacturing good quality products for the Indian market & with that thing in mind, we started a unit in Delhi, and another in Mumbai that has all kinds of facilities. We maintain international quality standards in our products.
What is your message to the industry?
I would request all the brands to come together and work together & make the Indian market grow. Our category is very big but a little ignored one, if we can bypass the reasons we can come to the global level. We can take it to the next level by being a lot more organised and making a mark at the global level.
