Nextgen Technologies, one of the leading brands of mobile accessory manufacturers in India, in association with the Robin Hood Army has distributed food to over 1000 needy struggling during the pandemic.

The ongoing nationwide lockdown and stay at home advisory by the government in the wake of COVID-19 pandemic has hit the poor and daily wage laborers the most as they struggle to make ends meet. With work completely drying up, these migrant workers are left with almost no savings or ration to survive this dire situation.

NextGen, based in New Delhi, with the tagline ‘Future without worries’ is a leading provider of Mobile Accessories including air pods, neckbands, headsets, speakers, hands free, headphones, data cables, chargers, batteries, etc decided to serve the poor who are struggling.

Mr. Nikhlesh Arora & Mr. Deepak Nijhawan, Directors, NextGen, comment, “Right now we have helped over 1000 people by giving foods like dal, sabji, paratha, etc. We thank all the partners wholeheartedly gave their support by coming together to help us in the noble cause. Currently, we have done one feeding drive in Delhi, Kanpur & Agra. Soon we want to undertake one more feeding drive in Delhi for the hungry.”

The Robin Hood Army is a zero-funds volunteer organization that works to get surplus food from restaurants and communities to serve the less fortunate. It has largely students and young working professionals who render services during their free time. The less fortunate sections of society they serve include homeless families, orphans, patients from public hospitals and elderly people in the old age homes.

“Robin Hood Army, operating in India and 14 other countries, provides to the less fortunate sections of society. Today, the world is fighting a long battle with no end in sight, so we need to support each other more than ever before. I am proud to share the initiative of my daughter, Jhanvi Arora, a student of DAULAT RAM COLLEGE, Delhi University, serving as a volunteer with Robin Hood Army,” adds Mr. Nikhilesh Arora
