Vivo has confirmed that the Vivo S16 series will launch on December 22nd in China. The lineup will feature two smartphones (Vivo S16 and Vivo S16 Pro) with a curved display, while the Vivo S16e will come with a flat panel. All three smartphones, however, will flaunt an Aura Light (a ring light). The Vivo S16 will come in Black, Gradient Pink, and Green colour options, while the Vivo S16 Pro will come in Black and Green variants. The Vivo S16e, on the other hand, will launch in Green, Black, and Violet colours. All three smartphones will feature a centrally-aligned single punch-hole selfie camera and a triple rear camera setup.
The Vivo S16 is expected to feature a 6.78-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, the device will likely come powered by the Snapdragon 870 processor, which will be paired with up to 12GB RAM and up to 512GB storage. In terms of cameras, the Vivo S16 will sport a 64MP + 8MP + 2MP triple rear camera setup and a 50MP selfie snapper. Coming to the battery of the device, the Vivo S16 will feature a 4,600mAh battery with support for 66W fast charging over a USB Type-C charging port.
