Journey of East Sun
EAST SUN has been formed in 2016 with the view to provide the best innovative products to the consumers. East Sun is ISO 9001-2015 (QMS) & ISO 14001-2015 (EMS) certified company by TUV-SUD. East Sun aims to create a hub of fully localised manufacturing for mobile chargers, power adapters and power banks in India.
Range of Products
It offers customized solutions for all types of USB Mobile Chargers, Car Chargers, Power Adapters, IoT power solutions, EV Chargers, Power Banks etc. EAST SUN’s state-of-the-art is certified manufacturing unit in Pune has a production capacity of 25 million chargers per year and 4 million Power bank per year. The manufacturing lines are comprised of industry latest machinery such as Auto lead-free wave-soldering, PCBA transfer, Auto ultrasonic welding and Auto laser-printing machines, Pad printing machine, Fully-equiped Reliablity Lab etc.

Scope of power banks and adapters.
There is immense scope of power banks and adapters as over the years there has been a rise in the power bank market with the adaption of consumer electronic devices such as smartphones, smart-watches, headsets, earphones other wearable devices. In addition, the advancement in the technologies introduces the internet connectivity with the greater bandwidth in response increases the data transfer, led to propelling the growth of the market.
Manufacturing in India.
We feel that there is a lot of scope of manufacturing in India. There are a lot of opportunities in this segment and still its in the nascent stage yet it’s quite promising. Make in India has been a direct inspiration for setting up EAST SUN’s India operations and it aims to participate towards building on Hon’ble PM Narendra Modi’s vision of powering a ‘Make in India’.
Future Goals
In the manufacturing map of India, we plan to be the first tier and aim to provide the consumers the best innovative products at the most affordable cost. Our main aim is to provide the best power banks, charger, USB car chargers keeping it price sensitive and reducing the dependency on other countries.
Talking about goals Mr Akshay Surana says, “We are a good supporter of Make in India and have been one of the very pioneers of manufacturing. When industry’s buyer was importing complete PCBA that time we have started SMT and Through hole process in INDIA. Our Strength lies in our Research & Development, and we aim to give the best market fit products at the most affordable costs.”
Adding to it Mr. Piyush Bardia says, “Manufacturing in India is likely to see a big leap. We are the 1st Qualcomm certified product maker in India. The 1st Disney licensed merchandise product maker in India. We are the power focused company and not scattered with the opportunistic market.
