New Era for Electronic Products

The world’s fastest-growing industry, Electronics System Design and Manufacturing (ESDM) continues to transform lives, businesses, and economies across the globe. Technology transitions such as the rollout of 5G networks and IoT are driving the accelerated adoption of electronics products. Initiatives such as ‘Digital India’ and ‘Smart City’ projects have raised the demand for IoT in the market and will undoubtedly usher in a new era for electronic products.
To foster the address this issue, and propel India to make the 2nd largest mobile manufacturer in the world, the Indian government has also undertaken the step to strike a deal with Taiwan government. India and Taiwan are in talks for an investment agreement to bring chip manufacturing to South Asia along with tariff reductions on components for producing semiconductors by the end of this year.
The MMIC (Mobility Make In India Committee) will aim to use all its resources to connect the brands, manufacturers, suppliers of raw materials and components and channel partners to make things easy for them to Make in India and take India forward.
