Smartprix has revealed that the Nothing Phone (2a) could feature a camera setup similar to its older siblings. The Phone (2a) will feature a 50MP Samsung ISOCELL S5KGN9 sensor at the primary camera with a 1/1.5″ sensor size. This sensor has not been publicly launched by Samsung yet, but the Moto G84 is another smartphone that features the same.
Further, Nothing will use Samsung’s 50MP ISOCELL JN1 sensor for the ultrawide camera. It would be worth noting that this is the same sensor that Nothing Phone (1) and Phone (2) boast, too. When it comes to the selfie camera, the Phone (2a) will come with a 32MP Sony IMX615 sensor.
The Nothing Phone (2a) is expected to be officially unveiled at the “Nothing to See” event at the MWC 2024, scheduled for February 27th in Barcelona. The device, codenamed Pacman, is expected to be available in India, Europe, Japan, and other global markets.
The phone is expected to be available in only two colour options, Black and White. Other specifications include a 6.7-inch FHD+ 120Hz AMOLED display and Mediatek Dimensity 7200 chipset.
