During an interaction with Mobility Magazine with Mr Mandeep Arora, Managing Director, UBON, discusses the various steps they have taken to boost the revenue and the road ahead.

UBON is well known for its innovative and next-generation products. Collection of earphones, neckbands, headphones, smart watches, speakers, & earbuds. One can explore a variety of gadgets, power banks & chargers. UBON is a made-in-India brand which always strives to provide the best to its consumers and to achieve this so they never fail to introduce new yet unique products in the market. Products are very affordable and are very powerful in the respectful segment. We provide hundreds of options in each segment, whether it is neckbands, earbuds, headphones, chargers, speakers, power banks etc, our consumers will get numerous options. Our most efficient R&D team efforts are the behind this success. We are equipped with highly advanced technology.
Since its inception, the brand has brought about a lot of innovative products. In the coming year going ahead what are the innovations that you are likely to come up with?
To meet the demand of the market we have increased our productivity and are ready to open a new manufacturing unit soon. Since inception, we have introduced a such good variety of products which reflects the efforts of team UBON. In the coming years, you will experience more box products with premium quality. So far, we have launched a solar wireless speaker with an in-built torch, fan, and FM, which is a one-of-a-kind product and at the same time very thoughtfully made by us. The touchscreen neckband is also one of the superb products we have made this year with an overwhelming response from the market. We have launched several portable speakers in this festive season to enhance your part experience. UBON will continue to do so.
What are the various opportunities perceived by you in Make in India?
As a rapidly developing nation, the Indian government is paying attention to every field. Some reforms in every sector are much needed to function properly. We as an Indian company, support this thoughtful initiative of Make in India by the Indian government. Make in India has assisted MSMEs India, which appreciated the micro, small and medium businesses to grow and provided a proper framework for strengthening themselves. This also cut short the product cost and open the gate toward making India a manufacturing hub.
How is UBON gearing towards making India an export hub?
As per the current scenario, we are going to expand our market reach and increase productivity. We are soon going to open some manufacturing units to meet market demand.
What are the plans- the revenue, the key focus areas in the new road ahead
UBON has a wide range of retail networks across India. We are geared us to expand our business, online and offline sales and many international tie-ups in the coming years. We have recorded a good jump in the last FY and aiming for 20% of growth in this FY turnover. Moreover, we foray to enter the home entertainment segment and are going to generate 5000 jobs.
